In 2010, we started A Modern Romance with the drive to produce exquisite events, with our client’s unique tastes in mind. We quickly gained the attention of the Destination Wedding Market, and had great success in the Florida Keys.
In 2012, we were asked by a client to plan her Destination Wedding at the National Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. Since most of our events had been planned at locations with historical significance, we happily accepted the opportunity. Planning a successful event in a new destination provided very little challenge, as the space and staff were world-class. The National Hotel placed us on their vendor’s list after seeing how closely we work with our clients. We become their advocates, doing whatever it takes to achieve a memorable, fabulous event.
This got the ball rolling for us, and we started receiving more requests to plan events at Miami Properties. The Deering Estate was one of them. After reviewing the features of this 350 Acre Property on Biscayne Bay, with two historic homes, one with a Grand Ballroom, joined by a Magical Courtyard. What’s not to love?
Viscaya Museum became another obsession, such a wonderful venue to plan a stunning soirée. Our clients love the magic that is produced at such an amazing location. The possibilities there are endless, when you add gorgeous flowers, cutting edge lighting and fireworks.
The list of venues grew, and we made the decision in 2016 to setup a second office in Miami Beach, to continue to grow the business and make clients happy with our superior style of service. We look forward to showing Miami our expert eye for event design, and execution. The future looks bright for A Modern Romance, and for all of those that choose us as their Event Planning Specialists!
